‘Bos di Nos Pueblo’ / The Voice of Our People
Description
Bos di Nos Pueblo is a boldly defiant and fun performance about the political culture on our island and the struggle of young people to either stay silent or form their own opinions. After the premiere, a series of public performances follows, and the piece is also performed in secondary schools, accompanied by an educational program.
In Bos di Nos Pueblo (BDNP), politics becomes personal. Do you dare to say what you think? What you support or oppose to, and what you believe in? If you could be a politician for just one day, what would you change? Together with the actors, the audience forms a new political party: BDNP – The Voice of Our People. Bos di Nos Pueblo is a play about difficult choices between reality and ideals, between rules and freedom, and the tension between self-interest and the common good.
Bos di Nos Pueblo is performed by Christopher Barrow, Donovan Benett, Norma Cova and Albert Schoobaar. The script was written by Albert Schoobaar and directed by Silvia Andringa. The production is made possible with support from Het Fonds Podiumkunsten, Stichting Doen and the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Caribisch Nederland.

PERSBERICHT Theaterstuk ‘Bos di Nos Pueblo’ van Teatro KadaKen in Casa Moderna in Punda
Aanstaande zaterdag 27 februari presenteert Teatro KadaKen haar nieuwe theaterstuk Bos di Nos Pueblo (BDNP) in Casa Moderna in Punda. Na de première in Kurá di Arte, een voorstelling in Landhuis Bloemhof, in de wijk Seru di Papaya, de Nationale Bibliotheek Curaçao, is Casa Moderna nu aan de beurt. Casa Moderna heeft haar poorten geopend voor Uni Arte om kunst te verenigen. Waar vroeger onze sloffen onze richting bepaalden, wijst nu Koningin Kunst ons de weg.

Aanstaande zaterdag 12 december gaat Teatro KadaKen met haar nieuwe theaterstuk Bos di Nos Pueblo (BDNP) de wijken in. Na de première in Kurá di Arte en een voorstelling in Landhuis Bloemhof, is nu de wijk Seru di Papaya aan de beurt. Het buurtcentrum opent enthousiast haar deuren zodat de bewoners van de wijk de voorstelling Bos di Nos Pueblo van Teatro KadaKen kunnen zien.

Persbericht: Nieuw theaterstuk Bos di Nos Pueblo in première
Op vrijdag 13 november aanstaande gaat alweer de vierde grote theaterproductie van Teatro KadaKen sinds 2009 in première. Bos di Nos Pueblo is een uitdagende en vrolijk brutale voorstelling over de politieke cultuur op ons eiland en het gevecht van jongeren om stilzwijgend toe te kijken of een eigen mening te vormen. Na de première volgt een reeks vrije voorstellingen en wordt het stuk klassikaal in scholen voor middelbaar onderwijs opgevoerd, begeleid door een educatief traject.
